The protection of the interest of the layman has found my interest to a very great extent.
I somehow want legal knowledge to be spread to everyone. A society to be a disciplined society should follow the laws and for that the laws should be known to them. The legal knowledge should be freely accessible to everyone, so that he can find himself known of his rights.
When I searching for some materials, I found something interesting. I happened to come across the site of “community legal service direct”. A very useful venture I should say. Once I saw that, I felt excited. They seem to give information on rights of common man and they have got booklets explaining all such rights. I can term my mission accomplished if I would be able to replicate the same for the Indian laws.
They have got a list of legal problems faced by the common and how to com across that. It was a very wonderful site and one worth mentioning. They have published information booklets for each and every subject and situation and it helps the common man realize his rights and how he should act, practically. I wish the Indian system was so organised. Rather, I wish to make it this organised.
As Mahatma said, “be the change you want to see.”
